Ndoye has not officially asked to leave Bologna but has reportedly agreed on personal terms with Napoli, hoping the two clubs can find a deal.

Nottingham Forest may re-enter the picture as they seek a replacement for Anthony Elanga, who joined Newcastle United earlier in the summer.

During the previous season, Ndoye impressed with Bologna, scoring nine goals and providing six assists in 41 games, helping the team win the Coppa Italia.
