AC Milan's management now consider Jashari a top priority target, as they know other European clubs are also interested in signing him.
Despite this, AC Milan's initial €20m offer was rejected by Club Brugge, who value Jashari at a significantly higher price of around €45m.
However, there is a possibility that the two teams can reach a compromise on a fee of €35m during their meeting this week.
As a backup option, AC Milan are also in talks with Valencia's Javi Guerra and Bayer Leverkusen's Granit Xhaka, but it seems unlikely that they will be signed instead of Jashari.
