David's agents initially wanted a significant amount of money, approximately €25 million, to secure his transfer to his next club. This high demand caused some issues, as clubs from the Saudi Pro League and Fenerbahce were willing to work with the agents, but Juventus refused to consider their request.
Despite this, Juventus was still eager to sign David and offered him a lucrative contract worth €6 million per year. The club's general manager, Damien Comolli, even asked David to persuade his agents to lower their price.
Fortunately, David's wishes were respected, and his agents eventually reduced their demands to around €10 million, allowing the transfer to proceed.
David's move to Juventus is now underway, and he will soon undergo a medical examination in Turin.
