Max Dowman had an impressive season with the Under-18 team, scoring 14 goals and providing three assists in his last seven matches. His performance was a highlight of the 2024-25 season.

Internationally, Dowman played for England at the Under-17 European Championship and made a significant contribution. He scored a goal and provided an assist in a 4-2 group-stage win against the Czech Republic.

During the training, eight members of the senior squad were absent. The goalkeepers, David Raya and Karl Hein, were not present, and Gabriel Magalhães, Gabriel Jesus, and Reiss Nelson were sidelined due to ongoing injuries.
